Volunteer Clean Up Weekend

Come on Friday night for free camping as long as you lend a hand on Saturday. Please - it's important that you RSVP by clicking this text so we can cater the proper amount of food for lunch.

Jobs

On volunteer clean up day, the biggest job is raking leaves and picking up sticks and branches.  We also clean the hiking trails, fill potholes, paint, put out patio furniture and collect bonfire wood.

Please arrive by 10:00AM.  Lunch is served around 2:30PM.

Field Trip: Beltzville State Park Hike

Mon Noon - 3:00PM / Camp Office

Leave camp at 12 Noon, arrive back approx 3:00PM. 

We'll head just down the road to Beltzville State Park for a leisurely hike.  There, we will follow the Cove Ridge, Falls, and Christman trails, along the beautiful scenery of Beltzville Waterfalls and Wild Creek Cove.  These trails are mostly wide level paths, with only a few moderate inclines.  Bring your camera, water, and snacks for a relaxing day with nature. 
Distance: 4 miles.  Proper Footwear Required.  Cost: Free!

The cost to participate in this event is a "new un-wrapped" toy for children in the Philadelphia region infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.  The Woods is joining AIDS FUND because the families affected by the epidemic are not all getting their needs met.  Your toy donation will go a long way!

Get ready as we transform Site 52 into "Studio 52" for the "Fourth Annual Time"

Disco Lights, Flashing strobes, and Mirrored Balls will transform the site into the Acclaimed "Studio 52"

When arriving through the GRAND Entrance, get your name tag so everyone knows who you are.
