Charge your EV while you lay at the pool!
The EV Charging Stations at The Woods offer an easy “piece of mind” solution to those guests who travel to camp in their electric vehicles.
We have 4 – Level 2 charging stations from the leader in EV charging in the country – ChargePoint! Many features come with our chargers such as a waiting list with notification, so you don’t have to constantly hope you’ll get charged during your stay!
What's the best way to use the EV chargers at The Woods?
Our recommendation is to download the free ChargePoint app and sign up for a free ChargePoint account. After that, you provide your payment details (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal) or pay via roaming agreements with other charging network apps and RFID cards.
How do I start a charging session or use Tap to Charge at the ChargePoint Station?
Learn about the Chargepoint app
ChargePoint has a great FAQ page on their website.
How long will it take to charge my EV?
A Level 2 charger will get an average of 32 miles of driving range per hour of charge (RPH). Factors that affect this will be your vehicle type and battery size.
Does Chargepoint have idle fees?
The EV chargers at The Woods will have idle fees to encourage fair sharing of the units. There are a lot of people who will be using the chargers and this will promote less downtime for those waiting after you.
Can I pay for chargepoint with my credit card?
ChargePoint accepts credit or debit cards, PayPal, Apple Wallet and Google Pay. Drivers may use a contactless credit card or call the toll-free number clearly displayed on our stations to authorize charging. EV drivers will be able to pay via a credit card without having a ChargePoint account or the mobile app.
