The Woods Camping Resort Rates/Rental options

Below you will find descriptions for our various campsites.

  • A campground membership is required for all guests.
  • Memberships can be obtained at check-in.
  • Membership fees are separate from a daily pass or overnight camping fee.
  • For an easier check-in experience, please have your accounts created for you and your guests in advance
  • Weekday visits after 8 PM require an overnight stay

What if I had a membership in the past?
Each season, you must renew your membership.  You retain the same account, membership ID# and membership card.  The cost is the same whether you are new to The Woods or a returning member.  Upon your first visit each season, you will sign a current season membership form and pay the membership fee.  Paying in advance online is not possible because we need to verify your identification.
How do i obtain a membership?
Making an account in our database is the first step of becoming a member. This is accomplished by clicking the Reservations dropdown option “Create Account”  You can bypass the credit card registration, but please make sure all other fields are completed. Otherwise, we’ll have to take the time to complete this process upon check-in which will delay your registration.

When you arrive to camp, Guest Services will present your membership form and charge you for the membership.  A valid government issued photo ID showing your current address is mandatory.

Do I need to pre-pay for a membership to make a reservation?

No, you don’t.  Memberships are purchased upon your first arrival of the season at the Guest Services desk.  All that’s required to book reservations is an account in our system.  We take the information from your account and auto-fill your form to create your membership.

*What do I need to receive the military discount?

You must show proof using your official US active military ID card, a VA benefits photo ID, a US miliary veteran ID card, your form DD-214 documents or a veteran designation on your state issued driver’s license.

PEAK SEASON:  The peak camping season is Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend.  You can enjoy discounted camping rates if you book before and after this period.

FLEX RATE OPTION:  During the reservation process, you will have the ability to book your campsites with the flexibility to receive a no-questions-asked refund. Normal cancellation policy timeframes will be enforced.  See additional details*

Storing your RV at The Woods

Many guests utilize our storage area in between their visits.  All that is required is to register your RV with us at Guest Services and sign a storage agreement.  There is nothing you need to do in advance except gather the details about your RV (year, make, model, plate #, etc.).  Everything is done at the check-in desk with a Guest Services team member.  We’ll provide your RV an ID# to help identify it.  The cost for storage is $15/week.  Storage fees must be paid in advance through your next scheduled visit.  You can also store your RV at The Woods during the off season at the same rate.  You will not have access to your unit when The Woods is closed.  Storage is at your own risk and The Woods is not responsible for damage or theft.  RV owner will be solely responsible for insurance covering any type of damage whatsoever to the unit while in storage on The Woods property (e.g., snow, wind, malicious damage, accidents, etc.)

RV VALET SERVICE - LET US MOVE YOUR RV ON AND OFF YOUR SITE
We provide a service to move trailers on and off campsites with advanced notification.  The fee for this service is $8 per move.

This can now be set up during the reservation process.  It can also be arranged with guest services with an email or phone call.  There is a separate agreement to sign for this service.  Sorry, this service is not available for 5th Wheel trailers or drivable RVs.

It is important that you alert Guest Services well in advance to schedule your moves and update us on any additional reservations or cancellations.

*What's Flex Rate all about?

Flex Rate was developed to add flexibility to our normal cancellation policy.  The normal cancellation policy doesn’t have a refund option.  It only gives Resort Credit based on how soon the cancellation notice was given. During the online reservation process, you will be presented with the Flex option check box which will add a 15% premium to your camping rates but will give you the option for a no questions asked refund of the reservation payment (following the same timeline as printed below in our cancellation policy.

When you make a reservation using Flex Rate, your reservation will indicate this.  Just log into your Woods account and click “Reservations” to confirm.

Note:  Refunds will only be for your reservation payment.

Cabin and Tiny Home Options and Descriptions

Fri. & Sat. Required for weekend reservations.  Fri., Sat. & Sun. required for Memorial & Labor Day weekends. Thu., Fri, & Sat. required for July 4th weekend.

CABIN AND PARK MODEL (TINY HOME) rental TERMS
  • Reservations are for a 3:00 PM check-in and 12:00 NOON check-out.
  • Deposits will be applied to the end of your stay.
  • There are no refunds for early departures.
  • Full campsite fee payment is due upon the arrival of the first person.
  • Online reservations charge full amount at the time of reservation.
  • No smoking is allowed in any of our rentals.  That includes vaping.
  • No animals are allowed in the rentals.  That includes reptiles.
  • To prevent infestation, ONLY freshly washed linens, blankets, comforters and pillows should be used.  We have laundry facilities if you didn’t already wash your items at home.
  • A $150 cleaning charge will automatically be charged to you if you violate these terms.
  • You must agree to these terms in order to book your rental unit.

C9, C10-15, C31, C60-C63, C158-C159, C167-C168, and C173-C175 are equipped with a queen-size bunk-bed and a futon.

Brown Cabins
C1-C6 are equipped with two sets of bunk-beds (3 twins and 1 double) reservations.

 

  • Cabins include Refrigerator, Microwave Oven, Flat Screen TV with Cable, Ceiling Fan, Large Storage Area & Electrical outlets.
  • Cabins C158 & C159 are equipped with air conditioning due to their sunny location.
  • Campers must supply their own sets of linens and pillows.
  • The cabin interior is approximately 12′ by 12′.
  • No smoking or pets, please.  $150 cleaning fee for violations.

C16-18 have a beautiful view of the Woods Lake.

 

  • Each are equipped with a queen-size bunk-bed and a futon.

CC1-CC3 is equipped with one queen bed.  These are meant for a romantic getaway for couples.

  • Price shown is for one or two campers in the cabin.

Luxury Park Models – Tiny Homes

  • Park Models include Private Full Kitchen, Residential Refrigerator, Apartment Stove/Oven, Microwave Oven, Bathroom with large shower, Dinette, Living Room Sofa Bed, Flat Screen TV’s, Heat / AC, and Sliding patio doors opening up to your own deck.
  • Sleeps eight in one private bedroom with a queen-sized bed, Two loft sleeping areas with queen size mattresses plus a double couch bed.
  • Bedding and towel sets included with rental.
  • Daily cleaning service available by request.
  • No smoking or pets, please.  $150 cleaning fee for violations.
  • Pennsylvania Hotel Occupancy Tax (6%) will be added to park model reservations.

Sites 81-89

Amenities on these sites are Water, Electric (15, 30 & 50 amp), Sewer, Cable TV, Concrete Pad, Picnic Table and Fire Ring.  These sites are great for the biggest rigs with easy access and plenty of room to back in safely.  Those with satellite will appreciate the open sky access to grab a signal.

Amenities on these sites are Water, Electric (15 & 30 amp / some have 50 amp), Sewer, Cable TV, Picnic Table and Fire Ring.

Sites G1-G65

The tenting grove is a wooded area overlooking The Lake at The Woods.  Sites are intended for 1 tent each.  The Tent Grove has shared fire rings and picnic tables.   We suggest you bring a long extension cord.

Overflow fields A, B, C & D.

When all regular sites are booked, many guests camp in overflow.  Your site does not have any borders.  Your camping space is whatever you need to set up your tent or trailer. The overflow areas do not have any amenities like electric, water, sewer, shade or a picnic table.  Overflow does not have fire rings, but a raised fire dish is allowed.  Bring your own or rent one from the camp store (limited supply).  For those with trailers, potable water is available at each dump station.  Our comfort stations are close by for toilets, hot showers and sinks for washing your utensils. You have access to outlets to charge your devices conveniently located on our clubhouse patio.

Guests with generators must camp in Overflow C.

Overflow sites are our least expensive sites and are priced per person which makes them the most economical way to camp – especially if you’re a single guest.

Minimum night requirements are still enforced.  Overflow sites are unlimited but are chosen on a first arrive, first pick basis.

Campsite Rental Terms

Applicable for all campsites, cabins and park models.

  • Reservations are for a 3:00 PM check-in and 12:00 NOON check-out.
  • Deposits will be applied to the end of your stay.
  • There are no refunds for early departures.
  • Full campsite fee payment is due upon the arrival of the first person.
  • Online reservations charge full amount at the time of reservation.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be in writing.
  • 15+ days prior to arrival: 90% refund* or credit of deposit towards another date in the same season.
  • 8-14 days prior to arrival: 50% refund* or credit of deposit towards another date in the same season.
  • 7 days or less will forfeit your deposit. No shows will affect future reservation privileges.
  • Camping is an outdoor experience; therefore, we do not give credits or refunds due to the discomfort of nature. Early departures, weather forecasts, changes in your job, available days off, weddings, funerals, public health scares, personal health or family situations do not warrant an exception to our policy.  Consider our flex pricing* to reduce any risk from unexpected circumstances.  
  • *A partial refund will only be issued if the reservation was made with our flex pricing rate.  Flex Rate follows the same cancellation timelines as Regular Rate.  The Flex Rate calculation is +15% for all campers on the reservation.
  • The transfer of a reservation to another person is possible with a $15 administrative fee.  The exchange of camping fees is between the parties of the transfer.  You cannot charge more than you paid.  More information and submission form is HERE.
  • No credits will be provided for the final weekend of the season.
  • The moment you book a reservation, you are using our services.
  • Any exceptions to these policies must be made in writing by campground ownership.
